We are looking for a young, energetic, entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer with a proven passion for creative action to actualise our large-scale visions for the company’s online presence. aims to create a highly scalable platform that will change the way students and colleges find each other, using a simplified, efficient user experience infrastructure like none other. The depth of data, along with the sophisticated back-end processing and algorithms, will present an appropriate opportunity to create rewarding solutions for current, relevant, problems. The incumbent will work in close consultation with the Strategy and Business Development teams to design, develop, and maintain visionary webpages that will move much of the company’s ‘college ready’ materials and infrastructures to a streamlined, online platform.

Furthermore, the CTO will be in charge of his/her own Product & Technology Management Team that will be responsible for maintaining website traffic, developing algorithms, creating online marketing campaigns, and ensuring the uninterrupted online availability of services to clients. The Team, along with the CTO, will be collectively responsible for defining quality standards, measures, and organisational enhancements to meet company goals. As a leader, the incumbent must develop department forecasts and budgets, establish performance indicators for the Technology Team, review technical designs to check for conformance to development standards, and lead research projects into third party softwares that may be usable within Collegify’s platform.


The CTO should be an innovative, passionate, creative, analytical, highly technically proficient, problem-solving, leader, able to work under pressing deadlines. He/she is required to stay abreast of all industry hot topics, creatively and seamlessly incorporating new ideas into pre-existing online frameworks. The Technology team will report directly to the CTO, who must have the leadership ability to effectively lead a group of forward thinking designers, compilers, and coders.

A Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) from a four-year university, or equivalent experience, is required in an associated technology field. We are looking for someone with at least four years experience in software development, product management, and/or quality assurance.
