Purpose of the Role: To lead, develop and implement branding & communication strategy for the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
To develop and execute branding & communication strategies and initiatives to support the organisation’s programs
To educate stakeholders, press, bloggers, sector analysts and influencers about the organisation’s core programs and initiatives
To lead the creation of high-quality online (website, blog, mass emails, newsletters etc.) and offline (concept notes, brochures, newsletters, events etc.) communications materials for Organisation’s key audiences, as per the branding & communication strategy and organizational requirements.
To take complete ownership over building a sustained social media presence and engagement for the organization
To provide technical writing, editing and communications best practices support to Organisation’s team members, as necessary.
To work closely with operations to ensure that the brand is being presented strongly during execution of various programs and events
To organize press briefings, media sessions, and events when required
To create innovative print collateral, working with designers when necessary
To build and manage relationship with external vendors (printers, designers, translators etc), as necessary.
To manage junior level staff and/or Interns to ensure mutual benefit and positive working experience
To work towards Organisation’s overall mission and core values
Qualifications: Mass communication, journalism, Masters social science from leading colleges
Prior Experience: Min 4 year in corporate communications or development communications with corporates or international NGO

Good understanding and experience of social media platform ( FB, Twitter and likes)
Good understanding and/or connect with mainstream, print and online media
Understanding of branding building communication, organization communication plans and strategy
Knack for design (collateral)
