Job Description for Sales Development Representative: 

The primary goal of the Sales Development Representative is to generate qualified opportunity for sales.

Its an important role within our company, as the Sales Development Representative is typically the first sales contact with prospective customers.

Required Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Understand the product and target market. 
  • Lead Generation through effective means including working through various databases and effective web search options like LinkedIn.
  • Engage prospects via email and over the phone.
  • Understanding the prospects need and creating sales ready opportunities.
  • Qualification of leads based on various parameters and working with right contact in the prospect organization.
  • Follow the established pre-sales process and consistently use CRM to document prospect interaction ensuring efficient lead management.
  • Adhering to territory hours and metrics, and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect type.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2- 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Willing to work for different time zones.
  • Strong ability to learn new technology and ramp quickly.
  • Ability to work in high-energy sales team environment as a team player.
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills.
  • Experience in working with IT Products/ Services.
