Sales Lead

Deliverables for this role:
  • Primarily responds to inbound sales inquiries which comes from various channels
  • Sales oriented with a drive to achieve set targets and marketing goals
  • Independent contributor who is motivated to drive inside sales helping the team to qualify leads as defined
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in a CRM set up.
  • Act as support to the marketing function in all activities including outbound sales (via emails, tie-ups and more)
  • Acts as a key contributor for activities to generate and qualify leads
  • Quick to offer solutions to clients and help navigate the lead to the respective team
  • Ability to identify and allocate internal and external resources to channelize the lead
  • Actively prospects to help discover and/or cultivate sales opportunities in line with the target
  • Works with internal teams like Engineering and Delivery team and external partners to ensure job delivery

Key Metrics to measure the success of this role:
  • Conversion rate to qualify leads
  • Meeting inbound sales targets
  • Effective support to the marketing function


Required Experience and Education:
  • Must have experience in the range of 1 to 3 years in similar roles with core experience is B2B sales
  • Must have a proven track record to sell in a B2B environment with a clear focus and drive to convert the lead. Have a demonstrated ability to move leads along the sales funnel independently
  • Sales driven who is passionate about selling and motivated to meet targets. Consistently meets or exceeds metrics related to outbound calls, scoping opportunities to meet set targets.
  • Any Bachelor's degree required; post graduation will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of marketing will be an advantage
  • Project Management skills desired
  • Demonstrates ability to act as a team lead
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal and external partners to deliver appropriate solution sale.
